Manufactured in California, the AS Series of Current Operated Switches utilizes the combination of a current transformer – signal conditioner – current value settable solid-state output for status reporting / alarm of current draw of electrical devices.

The AS1 Series has a rating of 1 to 150 AAC with an output rating of 0.15amp at up to 240 VAC or VDC. The output can be either Normally Open or Normally Closed depending upon the Model selected. The output “contact” trigger level is adjusted on the top of the unit. There is an integral LED to indicate status of the output.

The AS3 Series has the same basic characteristics as the AS1 Series with the addition of a maximum measured input current of 200 amps having three jumper selectable input measuring ranges of 1 to 6 amps ; 6 to 40 amps ; and 40 to 200 amps. Range selection increases the resolution and accuracy of the trigger level (set point) of the status / alarm output. The AS3 is also available with output ratings of 1 amp at 240 VAC or 3 amps at 120 VAC or 15 amps at 120 VAC.
